Expectations
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science engineering or information technology or equivalent.
Minimum of 8-12 years of experience years of experience in a technical consulting role, preferably with expertise in Temenos Transact, Payments or FCM product implementation, upgrade
Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C++, Python, and product-specific languages.
Experience with APIs, web services, and system integrations.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and database management systems is a plus
Proficiency in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and efficiently.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate client systems and provide solutions to meet business needs.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Temenos certifications (e.g., Temenos Transact, Temenos Payments) with accredited status (TLC) and above or similar industry-recognized certifications.
What You Will Do
As a Sr Product Specialist - Technical, you will be required to perform the following key responsibilities:
Technical Consultation & Solution Design
Act as a technical advisor to clients, understanding their business and technical requirements and providing tailored solutions using the product’s capabilities.
Contribute to design, implement, and configure the product to ensure it meets client specifications and integrates with existing systems.
Contribute to analysis of client requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications, ensuring the solutions are scalable and meet performance standards.
System Integration
Work closely with the integration team in contributing to the product with other enterprise applications and systems, ensuring seamless communication and data flow between systems.
Work with development teams to build custom integrations, using APIs and other integration tools as necessary.
Product Configuration and Customisation
Customize the product to meet client-specific requirements, including developing custom components and extensions when necessary.
Ensure the product is configured/customized to adhere to industry best practices and client-specific needs, while ensuring system performance, security, and scalability.
Coding and Development
Ability prepare Technical specification document that is scalable and resilient.
Write and implement custom code as needed for advanced features or integrations, ensuring high performance and security.
Ability to lead a team of developers and deliver quality output on time and budget.
Technical Support
Provide technical support to clients during and after the implementation phase, troubleshooting issues related to product functionality, performance, and integration.
Proactively identify potential issues in client systems, providing solutions before they impact business operations.
Work with the support team to resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
Participate in technical testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and performance testing, to ensure the product is working as expected.
Validate system configurations and customizations to ensure they meet the business requirements and technical specifications.
Training & Documentation
Provide technical training to clients and internal teams. Share knowledge of product capabilities, best practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for the product setup, configurations, customizations, and integrations.
Document any challenges faced and how they were resolved.
Mentor junior consultants and team members, providing guidance on technical aspects of the product.
Post Implementation Support
Provide ongoing technical support to client’s post-implementation, resolving any issues or challenges that arise and ensuring the product continues to meet their needs.
